Mixed Feelings...

Hey,

I don't know...I don't really dig this all that much. It feels very empty and repetitive. The piano by itself is very choppy musically speaking. I felt like there was way to much silence in this and not nearly enough variation. However!!! It is perfect music for like a mian menu theme of a serious RPG. Or credit music. I am sorry I don't want to be a jerk here, just letting you know my thoughts on it...

Hey,

It's very interesting. The guitar and vocals have way to much effects on them. But for some odd reason it works really well! Also the lyrics are really well written. "This ain't the life for me" or "A soul has been crushed" - "all for this worlds ungodly list. Incredible, simply amazing. I also love that you didn't stick to a traditional composition method. Yeah, you have a chorus and versus. But to me this does sound like a story or a piece of writing. I think you would do really well writing a musical. You have a unique sense of music, however it sounds quite commercial. I don't know, I wouldn't be surprised if I heard your music in a professional play.

This was done very well, if I heard this in a professional game/movie I wouldn't doubt it was made by a big name artist. IF you where planning on using this has main menu music or something I would probably wait to start the game until it ended.

I don't normally listen to this type of music either, but my god! Listening to it made me think of a short montage in a movie where things are finally good and happy after a lot of bad sh!t happened. Very good musicality as well. MAy I ask what program you used?

Overall I must say nice work ;)
I don't know why but somethings sounds "off" to me....I'm not sure what. IT might be a tad to repetitive for my taste. However, if this was background music in a game it would be prefect. So I give you a 4/5 and a 7/10!!!

Funny...I think I know what is bugging me! I'm listing while writing and it was made in FL right? Damn FL Studio! IT's hard to make things sound like you didn't make them in it when you use it's native plugins. Don't get me wrong though, I own FL Studio 9 as well as Reason 4. We-wire is my best friend. IF you don't know it give it a try!

Good Production Value!

I DEFF think you have a very good ear, sence of Rhythm and potential, however...

All that aside I really frown upon using loops in a song, atleast such major loops like you are. I mean come on dude, GarageBand? I to use a mac, but never do I use those loops in a finished product.

I am not trying to be jerk, I just feel for some with such a caliber of talent s your self should not limit himself with Factory Loops. To be honest it makes you look like you don't have anything original to say. Just my opinion though...

Keep up the amazing work as far as your production skills go! I look forward to hearing a 100% original piece.

lol sorry, I guess it's just not my style, I won't down rate because I don't like the genre though. Overall (especially if I liked techno) I gave yo a 3/5 and a 5/10

Second half FTW

This is a really good peace, however it sounds like two separate songs half way through. You start off "ConnieB" Style then suddenly go all "Red Hot Chillei Pepper" on me haha. I think the second half is better by the way. It has a hint of you in it, yet sounds commercial. I'd try expanding on that!!!!
