Good Work!

It's actually a really good piece!

People listening! Give it a chance!!!! After the distortion comes in do not run away! The artist finds a way to use it appropriately! I'm telling you!!!! Anyway back to you hehe.

Your song sounds quite scattered at first, but I listened to it all, and liked a lot of it. I think it would be a good colab. I think your more of an acoustic guy with some "punk" in you. I suggest doing the acoustics and letting another person do the distortion part. There's a guy here goes by "ConnieB" Hit him up. (PM him lol)

I'm sure he'll work with ya. Anyway keep it up you have great talent!!!! I'd like to do an acoustic piece with you sometime to as well!!!! Or maybe you could distort over my acoustics for practice? If you want....anyway PM if you want more info on that. Overall 5/5-9/10

Yea man, I know I need some practice with the distortion. Part of it is the fact that I can't get the distortion quite right with my amp.

My friend,

You have a great intro here. I think your just stressed out and overlooking the picture of the situation. You already have it figured out. You have the soft intro then the build (Drums and oh so increasing strings) from there all you do is continuous a solid low bassey drum beat (in this case) and then continue that orchestral vibe/notes. if anything for me the intro/build is the hard part, not the chorus.

What program did you use? If you used FL Stuio you can send me the project file and I'll show you an example of what I'm attempting to say lol. (I have the Producer Edition by the way. So no Styrus plugin :(

But a neat trick is to copy all your stryus plugin onto a piano roll and save that way then paste back into styrus when opening. Cool huh? That way I could still open the strings...Anyway just trying to help. Great work dude help you get past your blockage, and I'm here if you want help ;)

This song honestly is not so hot! BUT!!!! It has a feeling in it. A moment was captured during recording. Most people when they record they are all stressed out and just want the song to be perfect as hell. But this song was for your brother, on request. It has that feeling of family bod in it. Or more simply put I feel love in this song. It could be a great song if expanded and dropped to a lower key. IT sounds so...raw without being raw. How the heck did you do that!? 5/5 101/10 my friend for pure emotion and not worrying about the studio for once and just loving the music and nothing else. That's what F'ing should be, bravo. You are an inspiration..a 15 second inspiration.

the only reason i didnt stay acoustic the whole time is, 2 reasons...1: it'd get WAY too repetative or annoying in all acoustic, trust me, ive tried it. and 2: i love to rock, so i had to make it angrier ha
besides, the song'd about being mad at yourself for losing what you loved(the memory(of a girl?)) not that ive expericed this lmao, i HATE my ex, haha

There where a few sour notes but I gave you a 4/5. You are really good, I can tell. I like what I hear, for sure. Could use a better build/chorus though. Or atleast some chords in there. I think that would help it, besides the occasional strum you did here and there. Keep it up though ;)

Thanks for the advice! It is much appreciated! I know what you mean, the strings I have been using are quite old and at times get a bit difficult to press all the way down creating the fuzzed notes :)

You had such a lovley acoustic intro and it whent to waste in my opinion. REVAMP IT PLEASE!!!! It has potential!!!!

Perfect Cover

You need a midid box there bud. So you can plug in direct without a mic, no sounds diturb the recording but the guitar itself. I have an M-Adio and it works fine. Only 99.99 ask for one for the holidays ;)

Anyway your getting better and better. This finger picking or whatever your doing is great, perfect. Keep it up. Flawless besides that buzzing haha.

lol it's me again!!!!

Your strumming is spot on here but...your doing something else that is a pet peve of mine haha. Your hitting strings in the chords that really should not be hit. For example on the really high note chord with the high e string your keep hitting the D string I believe, open as well. it throws off the entire chord and kills that raw sound you where going for and just makes you sound like you don't know what your doing to be honest. Oh, as of writing the track was playing....and at the very start of the high pitched chord you have it perfect, then it goes heywire lol.

Overall there is great potential in these CHORDS, but not in the key your playing in. Try mixing around a little and maybe throw in a d minor like "EM9 Diminished" instead of that high chord to make a haunting sound. Anyway keep practicing, you've got potential buddy ;)
